After flying high against Woodbury last Friday, Stillwater came back down to earth. The Stillwater Ponies were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 45-44 to the Mounds View Mustangs. The Ponies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Stillwater's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Mounds View, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Stillwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-35 victory against Park on the 30th. As for Mounds View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-46 loss against East Ridge on the 30th.
