Basketball Recap: Xavier's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to 15

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Xavier had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings 86-35. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Xavier's 15th in a row) raised their record to 24-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
