Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets a 26-0 shutout. Jordan Kovach and Scarlett Ivey made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Kovach tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Ivey struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). At the plate, Kovach went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Ivey went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Gianna DeLorenzo was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
