Recap: Unity Christian Knights vs. Quad Cities Christian Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Unity Christian Knights, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were dealt a 70-32 loss at the hands of Quad Cities Christian on Tuesday. Unity Christian has not had much luck with Quad Cities Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Unity Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Samm Wilbur. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points.
Unity Christian bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-1 Faith Christian and 5-1 Faith Christian (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69.8% over those games). As for Quad Cities Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Unity Christian will be playing at home against Galesburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Quad Cities Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Faith Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
