Football Recap: Covenant Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Covenant Academy was the 47-12 winner over Monsignor Donovan Catholic when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Covenant Academy was beaten by Monsignor Donovan Catholic 50-22 on Friday. Covenant Academy was down 36-16 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Covenant Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hayden Korink, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. Asa Powers helped out on the ground, rushing for 96 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Even if they lost, Covenant Academy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with 11 sacks. William Wilson led the group effort, picking up four of those sacks all by himself. He is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Covenant Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Monsignor Donovan Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

As of now, neither Covenant Academy nor Monsignor Donovan Catholic have any future games scheduled.
