Softball Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Minnesota Valley Lutheran's offense. They came up short against the Maple River Eagles on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Black, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That hit was Black's first of the season.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Maple River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple River, they will welcome Lisbon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
