North Fort Myers came tearing into Tuesday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 49-44 W over the Estero Wildcats. This was payback for the Red Knights, who suffered a 53-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

North Fort Myers got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gia Molloy out in front who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and seven steals. Molloy has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amrey Stockeland, who put up 19 points and five rebounds.

North Fort Myers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 31 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Estero still got an impressive performance from Amiya Lewis, who went 12 of 23 on her way to 34 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 77.3% of Estero's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of London Woods, who posted five points and five boards.

North Fort Myers' win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for Estero, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Fort Myers will take on Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Fort Myers' defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Gateway's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Estero, they will challenge North Fort Myers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
