Volleyball Recap: Thomas Worthington CARDINALS vs. Westerville South Wildcats
Thomas Worthington had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Westerville South Wildcats. The CARDINALS were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
While Thomas Worthington ultimately came up short, they really made Westerville South work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-16.
Annabelle Morse paced Thomas Worthington's offense, picking up seven kills. Morse got some help from Sydney Roberts and her nine assists. Morse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
