Softball Recap: Penney Hornets vs. Mid-Buchanan Dragons
Penney lost against Mid-Buchanan back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Penney Hornets lost 17-1 to the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Penney's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Mid-Buchanan, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.
Penney will square off against South Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will challenge DeKalb at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Mid-Buchanan will be looking to keep their 28-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
