Baseball Game Preview: Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights vs. Groton School

For the second straight game, Buckingham Browne & Nichols will face off against Groton School. The Knights will look to defend their home field on Monday against Groton School at 4:30 p.m.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Buckingham Browne & Nichols and Groton School had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights lost 9-1 to Groton School on Saturday.

Buckingham Browne & Nichols saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MAX RE, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Groton School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
