Baseball Recap: Platte Valley Takes a Loss

Platte Valley lost against Dayspring Christian Academy back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Broncos took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Mason Hunt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season. Nick Silvas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Platte Valley has already played their next match, a 16-5 victory against Greeley Central on the 27th. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lyons on the 27th.
