It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carver High School of Engineering & Science had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 66-31 victory over the Sabres. The high-scoring effort was just what Carver High School of Engineering & Science needed considering they were shutout in their previous zero contest.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fareed Brown, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Brown has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Tali Simpkins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
