Baseball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora lost to Webb City back in May of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Houn Dawgs lost 8-1 to the Cardinals.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Webb City, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

Coming up, Aurora will be playing in front of their home fans against Hollister at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Houn Dawgs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Webb City, they will head out on the road to challenge Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
