Basketball Recap: Tallassee Takes a Loss

Tallassee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the LAMP Golden Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-60 back in December of 2024.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for LAMP, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Tallassee has already played their next contest (against Montgomery Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. LAMP will welcome Trinity Presbyterian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
