Stuart dropped down to 21-8 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Caddo Bruins by a score of 3-1. The Hornets were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Bruins' pitchers proved too tough.

As for Caddo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For Caddo's part, the team relied heavily on Cale Wigington, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Looking ahead, Stuart will venture away from home to face off against Bethel at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Caddo, they will welcome Roff at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
