Softball Recap: Thornton Comes Up Short

Thornton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Kankakee Kays. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Thornton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kankakee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Thornton will venture away from home to challenge Thornton Fractional North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kankakee, they will head out to take on Manteno at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
