Softball Recap: Petoskey's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Petoskey fell victim to Escanaba and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eskymos. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Northmen's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the defeat, Petoskey broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 29-8. As for Escanaba, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season.
