Softball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greencastle Tiger Cubs.

Natalie Hiliard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kira Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Greencastle, their record is now 6-7.

Warren Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Greenwood on the 5th. As for Greencastle, they have also already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Lapel on the 3rd.
