While St. John's victory against Our Lady of Good Counsel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cadets skirted past the Falcons 7-5. The win was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on eight straight.

St. John's record now sits at 15-8-1. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. John's is set to square off against their familiar foe Paul VI at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cadets 3.8, the Panthers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Our Lady of Good Counsel will take on rival Bishop O'Connell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
