Recap: Kinkaid Falcons vs. Bay City Blackcats
The Kinkaid Falcons were the 59-37 winner over the Bay City Blackcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Kinkaid fell to Bay City 41-36. Kinkaid's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Bay City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Estrada led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javius Andrews, who scored 9 points.
Kinkaid's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bay City, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Kinkaid's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sweeny at 8:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Sweeny focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday. As for Bay City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar Consolidated at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday. Lamar Consolidated is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.3 points per game.
