Baseball Preview: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Orem Tigers
The Spanish Fork Dons will head out on the road to square off against the Orem Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Spanish Fork came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to Springville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dons have suffered since April 8th.
Jesse Harrison was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.
