The East Valley Red Devils will challenge the Ellensburg Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

East Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Selah, who was ranked seventh at the time (East Valley was ranked 17th). The Red Devils never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Saturday. East Valley's victory was all the more impressive since the Vikings were averaging only 2.53 runs allowed on the season.

Meanwhile, Ellensburg entered their tilt with Grandview on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 25-2 win. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ellensburg pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for East Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
