Basketball Recap: Oskaloosa Comes Up Short

Oskaloosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones.

Oskaloosa now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood], the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

While Oskaloosa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on January 3, 2025.
