Volleyball Recap: Rayne Comes Up Short

Rayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sam Houston Broncos, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Rayne's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Sam Houston, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Rayne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Abbeville on the 14th. As for Sam Houston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against St. Louis Catholic on the 14th.
