 West Linn is 2-8 against Tigard since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The West Linn Lions will be playing at home against the Tigard Tigers at 6:45  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (West Linn: 3.5, Tigard: 3.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
 West Linn will head into Friday's  contest on the come-up: they were handed a two-run  defeat in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lakeridge  on Friday. West Linn blew past Lakeridge 9-3.
  Avery Wolf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three  runs (all of which were unearned)  on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Meg Allen, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  McKayla Castro, who  went 1-for-1 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Tigard came up short against Lakeridge on Wednesday and fell  7-3.
 West Linn's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Tigard, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
