Glastonbury hasn't lost a  match since September 30th, a trend which continued in their latest game  on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Catholic Eagles  a   2-0 shutout. Given Glastonbury's advantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while East Catholic are ranked 86th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glastonbury has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those four  contests. As for East Catholic,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-7-4.
As of now, neither Glastonbury nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
