Baseball Recap: Modoc Takes a Loss

Modoc was the 4-3 winner over Chester when they last played one another back in April of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves fell just short of the Volcanoes by a score of 5-4 on Saturday.

Modoc's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Chester, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Modoc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Quincy on the 24th. As for Chester, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-6 defeat against Loyalton on the 24th.
