South Lamar extended their postseason success on Saturday against Gaylesville. They blew past the Trojans 16-6. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for South Lamar, bringing their record up to 15-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Gaylesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, South Lamar will take on Athens Bible on Friday. Gaylesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
