It was a good run, but Agape Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elverado Falcons. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Agape Christian's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Elverado, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Agape Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Egyptian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elverado will challenge rival Century at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
