Basketball Game Preview: Cullman Bearcats vs. Hartselle Tigers

Cullman is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Hartselle is on a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cullman Bearcats take on the Hartselle Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cullman came up short against Madison Academy on Saturday, falling 64-39. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Mustangs are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Hartselle strolled past Decatur with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-33.

Cullman's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Hartselle, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
