Basketball Recap: Health Sciences Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Health Sciences had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Santana Sultans, falling 94-20. The Serpents lost against the Sultans in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-53 score last time.

Santana has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Health Sciences has already played their next game, a 71-28 defeat against O'Farrell Charter on the 20th. As for Santana, they will square off against Coronado at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
