Soccer Game Preview: McFarland vs. Nipomo

The McFarland Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Nipomo Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McFarland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Arvin.

Meanwhile, Nipomo hasn't lost a match since January 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They came out on top against St. Joseph by a score of 4-2. Kayson Jett had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Titans got from the refs.

Nipomo hit St. Joseph with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Juan Diego Zarate (2), Casey Lemus, and Jaeden Arreguin.

Nipomo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven games. As for McFarland, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
