Volleyball Recap: South Bend Adams Takes a Loss

South Bend Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mishawaka Cavemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

South Bend Adams' loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Mishawaka, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

South Bend Adams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against New Prairie on the 4th. As for Mishawaka, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lakeshore on the 4th.
