Omaha Nation lost to Douglas County West back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Omaha Nation Chiefs put the hurt on the Douglas County West Falcon with a sharp 67-41 victory. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Douglas County West lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ella Wiese, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Wiese a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Shaw, who put up six points.

Omaha Nation's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Douglas County West, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
