Soccer Recap: Tompkins' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Tompkins pushed their score to seven the last time they played Morton Ranch, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Tompkins Falcons fell 2-0 to the Morton Ranch Mavericks. That makes it the first time this season the Falcons have let down their home crowd.

Tompkins' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2-2. As for Morton Ranch, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7-1.

Tompkins will head out on the road to challenge Cinco Ranch at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cinco Ranch's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Morton Ranch, they will take on Mayde Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Morton Ranch is facing Mayde Creek at the right time seeing as Mayde Creek is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
