Baseball Recap: Vinemont Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Vinemont can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-4 to the Randolph County Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Vinemont's defeat dropped their record down to 25-10. As for Randolph County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Vinemont beat the Tigers by a score of 19-2 later that day.
