Softball Recap: Cibola Takes a Loss

Cibola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Boulder Creek Jaguars, falling 11-3. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Stephanie Loera was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI were her first of the season.

Cibola's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Boulder Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Cibola has already played their next game, an 18-2 defeat against Central Catholic on the 6th. As for Boulder Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Maryvale on the 4th.
