Boiling Springs made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Perry, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bubblers put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp  7-0 win on Thursday. The Bubblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Matt Wilson looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Boiling Springs is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 1-3 otherwise.
 On the hitting side,  Mason Labuda was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. He also  hit a  triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Josh Snyder, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Boiling Springs now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for West Perry, they moved to 5-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Boiling Springs and West Perry should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Bubblers (ranked 173rd) will meet William Penn (ranked 432nd)  at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile,  West Perry will  square off against  Waynesboro  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  advantage  (41 vs. 270).
