Pine Forest has won six straight games at home, while Terry Sanford has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Pine Forest Trojans will host the Terry Sanford Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Terry Sanford took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine Forest, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Pine Forest slipped by Westover 49-48.

Meanwhile, Terry Sanford faced Grace Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Terry Sanford took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grace Christian. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Pine Forest will need focus on slowing down Breonna Roaf, one of several Terry Sanford players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 18 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. Roaf has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaidiah Blake, who went 9 of 20 en route to 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Even though they lost, Terry Sanford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Pine Forest back to even at 8-8. As for Terry Sanford, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-3.

Pine Forest was taken down by Terry Sanford 72-38 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Terry Sanford's Ameya Brown, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards.
