Softball Recap: Delran Has No Trouble Against Pennsauken

After only two runs in their last match, Delran made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pennsauken on Wednesday. The Bears put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 14-1 win. That looming 14-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bears yet this season.

Gemma DeJoseph was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lila Jaussi, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Delran's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Pennsauken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Delran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Bordentown on the 4th. Pennsauken has also already played their next game (against Florence Township Memorial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
