Basketball Game Preview: Walker Wolverines vs. Blessed Trinity Titans

The Walker Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Blessed Trinity Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Blessed Trinity likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Walker beat Lakeview Academy 66-58.

Walker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Berry led the charge by going 9 for 12 on his way to 22 points in addition to eight assists and five steals. Those 22 points gave Berry a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Carey, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 22 points.

Meanwhile, Blessed Trinity had to suffer through a 72-32 loss at the hands of Christian Heritage. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walker's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Blessed Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
