Soccer Recap: Tatum Takes a Loss

Tatum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Henderson Lions, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 738th, while the Lions are ranked 311th).

Tatum's goal came courtesy of Abel Aguirre, who's now up to ten this season.

Tatum's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Henderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tatum will take on Pine Tree at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Henderson, they will square off against Kilgore at 6:45 p.m. on February 25th.
