Volleyball Recap: Plainville Takes a Loss

Plainville lost against Southington back in November of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Blue Knights.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-13.

Olivia Carter paced Plainville's offense, picking up eight kills. Carter got some help from Kaitlyn Landry and her nine assists.

Plainville's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Southington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Plainville is set to take on their familiar foe Newington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Southington will face off against rival New Britain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
