Basketball Game Preview: Bourbon War Hawks vs. Newburg Wolves

The Bourbon War Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Newburg Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bourbon is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Bourbon saw some tournament action on Monday. They were dealt a 59-22 loss at the hands of Chamois.

Meanwhile, Newburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 52-48 to Laquey. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bourbon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Bourbon might still be hurting after the 70-45 defeat they got from Newburg in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Bourbon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
