Basketball Game Preview: Churchill Bulldogs vs. Richard Montgomery Rockets

The Churchill Bulldogs will face off against the Richard Montgomery Rockets on Tuesday. Churchill is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Churchill came up short against Poolesville and fell 57-44.

Meanwhile, Richard Montgomery didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Kennedy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win. The 49-point effort marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Richard Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Churchill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Churchill and Richard Montgomery were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Churchill came up empty-handed after a 74-73 loss. Can Churchill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
