St. Marys waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They didn't even let the Roane County Raiders on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

St. Marys walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

St. Marys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Winland, who had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists Winland has posted since back in September.

St. Marys' record is now 20-10-1. As for Roane County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

St. Marys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Parkersburg Catholic on the 16th. As for Roane County, they are taking a road trip to take on Scott at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
