Football Recap: Northgate Skates Past Archie Williams with Ease

Northgate's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons, posting a 41-14 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Broncos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Peregrine Falcons are ranked 787th).

Tristan Tolerton had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 167 yards and two TDs on only ten carries. Those 167 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Northgate didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ryan Samander, Thomas Borbely, and Micah Anum picked up one apiece.

Northgate now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Archie Williams, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Northgate will welcome Clayton Valley Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Archie Williams, they will venture away from home to take on Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
