High Plains waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They claimed a resounding 46-15 victory over the Heartland Huskies. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead High Plains to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylee Ackerson, who went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Ackerson is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards.

High Plains is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Heartland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

High Plains will take on Hampton in a tournament on Saturday. High Plains is facing Hampton at the right time seeing as Hampton is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Heartland has already played their next matchup (against Sandy Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
