Football Recap: Calvert Victorious

The Calvert Trojans didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Highlands Blazers on Friday, but they still walked away with a 68-64 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

The win got Calvert back to even at 2-2. As for Highlands, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Calvert will take on St. Joseph Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Highlands, they will face off against Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers will be up against the Swordsmen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
