Softball Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

If Carroll County was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Bassett last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers lost 19-2 to the Pulaski County Cougars on Tuesday. The match marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pulaski County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Carroll County has already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Tazewell on the 3rd. As for Pulaski County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-3 victory against Northside on the 3rd.
